Hydrangea quercifolia 'Pee Wee'

Pee Wee Oakleaf Hydrangea

At 2-3' in height and width, this compact oakleaf hydrangea is perfect for small woodland gardens or foundation plantings with fertile soil. The leaves and flowers are more refined than the species with 4-5" long flower heads.

Flowering occurs from late May through early June or June through July, depending on location. The fragrant flowers provide early-season pollen and nectar for pollinators. The handsome dark green foliage turns rosy-red in fall.
