Growing & Maintenance Tips for Thuja occidentalis Fire Chief™

Grows best in moist, well-drained soil in full sun to part shade. Prefers limestone soils and acidic to neutral soils.  Mulch to maintain moisture at the plant's roots. The plant is intolerant of dry conditions, and hot, dry air. Plant in sheltered sites to prevent exposure to winter elements.
