Thuja occidentalis 'Emerald'
Emerald Arborvitae
Emerald was selected for the narrow compact pyramidal form and bright lustrous emerald green foliage. The leaves are flat, with sprays of scale-like, foliage. The foliage has a citrus fragrance. Unlike many other Arborvitae, the foliage stays emerald green through winter and it has better heat tolerance.
This dense upright evergreen is a good choice as an evergreen backdrop in the border, for a screen, and as a hedge.
- Native evergreen shrub
- Narrow, pyramidal growth habit
- Holds shape & rich green color year-round
