A shrub dogwood with bright yellow branches that stand out in the winter. Clusters of creamy white flowers are followed by bluish-tinged white berries. green summer foliage that turns to purple-red in fall. 

Excellent for wildlife because it provides cover, nesting sites, pollen and nectar, and food for birds and mammals.

Spreads by underground stems so excellent for massing in large spaces, moist areas, and along stream banks.
