Large round clusters of white flowers open in June and last for many weeks. Plants bloom most of the summer. The pollen-rich flowers attract many insects including bumble bees. Flowers can be used in fresh or dried arrangements. Plants form rounded mounds and often die back to the ground in winter. Grow in partial shade in rich moist soil. Does not perform well in dry soil.
